I am Lauren Ceres, a multimedia artist from Newport, Rhode Island. I studied Music at Bard College in the Hudson Valley.

I am a jazz singer, composer, painter, and writer. Improvisation is central to my practice and shapes how I work across disciplines. I paint primarily in acrylic on canvas, creating landscapes and abstract portraits. My use of color and harmony are informed by impressionism in both music and visual art.
